Original poster (chromolithograph) by Flori(mond) Van Acker (signed in the lower left corner of the plate), depicting activity at the Veurne market in his typical neo-romantic style at the beginning of the last century.
Press: De Rycker & Mendel, Brussels.
Condition B+: Image entirely intact. White edges trimmed without loss of printing details. Mounted on linen. Mat not included.
Shipping: rolled in a sturdy tube with Bpost track & trace.

Florimond (Flori) Arthur Joseph Van Acker (Bruges, April 16, 1858 – there, March 14, 1940) was a neo-romantic, impressionist Flemish painter, engraver, and director of the Bruges Academy. He was a painter of Bruges cityscapes and neighborhoods, landscapes, genre scenes, fishing life, historical scenes in an impressionist style, religious works, and numerous portraits of notable figures. He was also very active in designing posters (such as for the Breydel Festivals and the Carillon Concerts).
