Reflex Table Lamp by Tomasz Rudkiewicz – Poland – 1980s – Industrial Eastern Bloc Design

A rare and collectible table lamp designed by Tomasz Rudkiewicz for Reflex, Poland, during the early 1980s.

This iconic piece represents the functional industrial aesthetic of the Eastern Bloc in the late Cold War era. It was part of a limited production of practical desk lighting created for offices, institutions, and modernist homes in socialist Poland.

The lamp features a deep, wide aluminum shade, a cylindrical neck, and a sturdy circular base. Its form is defined by pure geometry and minimalism, making it a perfect example of utilitarian Eastern European design with a raw, brutalist edge.
