Ce type de coupe, signée Val Saint Lambert, présente un travail de “ncristal doublé ” où la couleur rose est appliquée sur une base transparente, puis soufflée et travaillée pour obtenir l’aspect torsadé et étiré qui rappelle une feuille ou une flamme.

La forme allongée et stylisée est représentative de l’influence Art déco qui a marqué la production Val Saint Lambert entre les années 1920 et 1950.
Ces coupes sont principalement destinées à la décoration de la table, mais peuvent servir à présenter des fruits, des friandises ou comme simple objet d’art.

La pièce est très lourde et fabriquée à la main, chaque modèle étant unique du fait du soufflage et de la manipulation à chaud du cristal.
