A rare and splendid example of the IWC Hermet military watch dating back to the early 1950s.

With a 34 mm case, it's still extremely wearable and appears larger on the wrist thanks to the combination of a black dial, lume, and sharp case, making it an attractive watch to wear every day.
On the case, there is an engraving 'WWW'; these are the most popular and collectible watches among those supplied to any army. They were the first to be designed and manufactured specifically for the British Army. 'WWW' is an acronym for Watch, Wrist, Waterproof, and was the descriptive code used by the British Army to identify it as a piece of equipment. Only about 5,000 IWC WWW watches were produced for the British Army during World War II. Therefore, good original specimens of these rare watches are highly sought after by collectors and are often extremely difficult to find. IWC watches are also considered the best of the WWW due to their superior build quality, making them highly desirable among collectors.
