Rare official USA army Map Reading Handbook (dated Feb 1944, published for the Normandy campaign) related to techniques of map reading, interpretation of landscapes, fortifications, etc. Really cool and funny cartoons (See attached photo's), including depictions of a willys jeep.. Fantastic book full of information and photo's of the latter techniques. etc. The pocket on the last pages also contains two maps and measurement material. Very difficult to find army Map reading manual for your USA WW2 collection! NOTE: THE STAPLES HAVE BEEN REMOVED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER, presumably to prevent rusting or they were never attached. However, can be easily fixed or read without them. Overall a very nice and difficult to find manual which would be a nice item for your WW2 collection!
