Grand Buste Apollon du Belvédère. Reproduction d’une sculpture et finition vieillie . Obtenue avec des patines à base de terres naturelles. Sa texture et sa finition lui donnent l’apparence d’une statue de marbre ayant vieilli. 

 l’Apollon de Belvédère, ainsi nommé car après sa découverte à la fin du XVe siècle, pendant la Renaissance, il a été exposé dans la Cour du Belvédère du Vatican. Cette statue est censée être une copie romaine d’un original grec en bronze attribué au sculpteur Léochares. Aussi appelé l’Apollon Pythien, il était considéré comme la meilleure sculpture antique par le néoclassicisme et pendant des siècles, il a été considéré comme l’apogée et l’idéal de la beauté et de la perfection esthétique dans la culture européenne et occidentale.
