Deze kuduo box uit Ghana is afkomstig van de Asante of Akan uit Ghana. Ze werd gebruikt om goudstof in te verzamelen. Authentieke stukken in goede staat zijn uiterst zelden en heel duur geprijsd. Deze kuduo is authentiek en oud maar spijtig genoeg in minder goede staat. De box is wel oud, mogelijk meerdere eeuwen, en werd aan de zijkant en het deksel versierd met een slangenmotief wat men ook terugvindt op veel stukken uit Djenné. Deze kuduo werd nog in brons gegoten via de verloren was techniek en stamt wellicht uit de eerste helft van de 19e eeuw of eerder. Latere stukken waren gemaakt uit metalen platen. 
Momenteel wordt de markt overspoeld met recente kuduo's die gemaakt zijn voor toeristen en verzamelaars. Dit is nog een authentiek stuk.
