The Macallan Limited Edition, the sixth and final release in “THE MACALLAN EDITION” series, draws inspiration from the landscapes and the River Spey that runs alongside the beautiful Macallan estate. Five different types of oak casks were used to create this limited edition to accentuate the aromatic profile and (natural) brassy color. Its aroma is rich with fresh fruit, nutmeg, ginger, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, we find plum and sweet orange, cinnamon, nutmeg, oak and oats, and to finish, leaving a sensational palate, we find fresh fruit with spices that recall notes of creamy chocolate and toasted oats.
