An elegant Italian silver figurative centerpiece of exquisite detail, created in the renowned Alessandrian goldsmith house A. Cesa during the mid-20th century.

This artistic piece features an openwork floral border encircling the base, which supports a delicately cast mythological or allegorical figure with flowing hair and finely modelled limbs. The ethereal form and graceful stance give the work a sense of movement and airiness, making it both decorative and sculptural.

The design is enhanced by precise pierced silverwork, reflecting the refined craftsmanship for which A. Cesa was celebrated.

Clearly stamped with the Italian “800” silver mark and the goldsmith’s registration “1 AL”, which identifies the workshop of A. Cesa, one of the most important silver manufacturers of Alessandria. The additional crowned mark is the Italian State mark for silver, in use during the 20th century.
