A fine pair of porcelain vases in silver mounts, each measuring circa 15,7cm in height and together weighing 565g, decorated in polychrome enamels and gold to depict a cornflower pattern on a latticework of laurel leaves. Marked to the underside with Clignancourt maker´s mark, late 18th century. Silver mounts acid tested for high silver content, not marked. Very fine work, garlands and ram´s heads on a guilloche textured ground. Condition: Both vases with hairline, otherwise good, minimal wear commensurate with age and light use.See pictures for more detail.
