Mooie antieke globe van uitgeverij Jules Lebegue, Parijs. 
In tegenstelling tot de meer gangbare globes van de uitgave uit 1888, is dit een zeldzaam exemplaar van de uitgave uit 1880. Dit is vooral te zien aan de zo goed als 'lege' kaart van de zuidpool. 
De globe zit nog heel goed in de originele lak en over het algemeen is hij in uitzonderlijk goede staat, op drie gerestaureerde beschadigingen na. 
De globe staat op de originele gietijzeren voet.
Kijk goed naar de foto's, ze vormen een integraal geheel met de beschrijving.
