Simon Bisley first rose to fame in England and Europe in the 1990s for his gritty, Frank Frazetta-esque paintings in the pages of the first British anthology series, "2000 AD," on titles such as "Judge Dredd," "ABC Warriors," and "Slaine." He also became a regular contributor to Heavy Metal magazine.
