Antique Junghans Wall Clock – Early 20th Century – Eclectic Style

This is a fine German wall clock from the early 20th century, made by Junghans, one of the most respected clockmakers of the period.
The movement is clearly signed with the Junghans star mark.

The case is made in an eclectic style, with beautifully turned side columns, carved floral ornaments, and a finely shaped crest with contrasting dark and warm wood tones. It is a very decorative and classic timepiece that displays well in any interior.

Movement: 8-day pendulum movement
Condition: The clock runs well. The gong mechanism sometimes fails to strike, therefore I am offering it as without gong. In my opinion, this function could likely be restored with proper adjustment.

Width: 39 cm (≈ 15.4 inches)
Depth: 17 cm (≈ 6.7 inches)

The brass pendulum is original, and the clock comes complete with a winding key.
Overall, it is a very attractive and classical German wall clock with presence and charm.
