Roger Guèrin (1896-1954) was een van de belangrijkste Belgische keramisten in Bouffioulx, dichtbij Charleroi. Hij was lid van de Société des Grès d’Art de Bouffioulx. Typisch was zijn gebruik van vloeiende glazuren in zijn decoraties. Guèrin was trouw aan de geschiedenis van zijn regio, en werkte vaak in een type harde keramiek (gebakken op een temperatuur van meer dan 1250 graden Celsius), wat daar al sinds de late Middeleeuwen werd gemaakt. Hij stelde zijn werk tentoon op de Parijs expo's van 1925 en 1937. Guèrin werkte onder meer samen met kunstenaars als Cris Achterberg, Marcel Wolfers, Pierre Caille, Damien Ingels en Chris Lebeau.
