A Fine Japanese Satsuma Koro (Incense Burner) Signed 'Fuzan' - Meiji Period (1868-1912) An attractive Japanese Satsuma koro (incense burner) from the Meiji Period (1868-1912). The body is finely hand-painted with a continuous scene of Rakan (disciples of Buddha) and a large dragon, highlighted with rich enamels and extensive gold gilding. ​It is signed on the base by the respected maker Fuzan (冨山造). The koro is complete with its original pierced lid featuring a gilded chrysanthemum finial. A high-quality example of export Satsuma ware. ​Dimensions: ​Height: approx. 27 cm
