Antique chess from the USSR.
Chess pieces are made of Bakelite. Bakelite is extremely strong. It resists pressure, shocks and friction well.
Bakelite is also resistant to acids, alkalis and salts. It is puncture-resistant, does not age, does not absorb moisture, does not let air through.

Currently, Bakelite is used much less often due to its high cost and complexity of production.

Chess in good condition. Excellent quality!

Made in the USSR.

The height of the tallest chess piece is 7.5 centimeters. The lowest is 4 centimeters.


Two of the figures have the fabric on the bottom not glued on. The figures are missing three crowns. There are minor scratches and dirt.

Without a playing field.
