This round plain dish is one the most unusual edition of Wild Life Series by well-known and loved French artist, Bernard Buffet (1928-2000)
Each year, one edition of an animal was produced during 1970s 
In mint condition. It comes in cloth interion custom-made box made in Japan, which can be hanged on wall or stand on desk.
Also with original literature and documentation by Franklin Mint

Signed on the left Bernard Buffet and titled at the top center: Lion
