Deze klok is het resultaat van het samenvoegen van een uurwerk met een wijzerplaat, een zogeheten "huwelijk".

Het uurwerk is oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit een staand horloge en rond 1850 vervaardigd. Dit uurwerk is  op een eikenhouten stoel geplaatst. Het uurwerk is gedemonteerd en volledig schoongemaakt. 

Een ijzeren ketting over twee kettingraderen zorgt voor het lopen en het slaan van de klok. Deze ketting heeft de zogeheten "Huygens-ophanging". De ketting heeft geen begin en geen eind en wordt in twee lussen opgehangen. In de aandrijvende lus hangt een grote gewicht, in de andere lus een klein contragewicht. Het contragewicht ontbreekt. De klok loopt, maar blijft slaan op de grote zandgegoten bel boven op het uurwerk na het bereiken van het halve of het hele uur..
De bijbehorende slinger heeft een messing lens en is 115 cm lang.

De bronzen wijzerplaat is afkomstig van een klok waarvan de gewichten middels een opwindslinger werden opgetrokken. Op de wijzerplaat het volgende adres: "John Chambley W'hampton". De secondewijzer is één van de vier wieken van een molen. De wijzerplaat heeft Romeinse cijfers voor de uren en in de rand Arabische cijfers voor de minuten. De datumaanduiding werkt niet.

Het kavel kan in Almere worden opgehaald. Versturen vindt zorgvuldig ingepakt én aangetekend plaats.
