This poster offered for bidding is an authorized reproduction by Wetzel in 1984 from an original print by Hugo Laubi from 1927. The original poster was for the 16th International Horse Races (XVI. Internationale Pferderennen) in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The poster advertises the event which took place on January 30, and February 3 and 6, 1927. The total prize money (Preissumme) for the races was 45,000 Swiss Francs. The event was organized by the St. Moritz Jockey Club (Rennverein St. Moritz). The poster is backed on linen. Notice that the poster was folded and had a mark. Also at the bottom part a bit scratched. Overall a superb piece at a fraction of the purchase of an original.
