*** Henkel & Grossé was founded in 1907 in Pforzheim, Germany. The company made high-quality costume jewelry. 
• By the 1930s, Grossé had established business ties with major department stores like Harrods and Saks, and collaborated with renowned designers such as Jeanne Lanvin and Elsa Schiaparelli.
• In 1955, Henkel & Grossé entered into a significant licensing agreement to produce jewelry for  Christian Dior. This collaboration resulted in the creation of the "Bijoux Christian Dior" line, though Henkel & Grosse also maintained its own line, known as Grossé, which featured high-quality costume jewelry.
• The company was led by four generations of the Grossé family before it was taken over by Dior group in 2006. ***
