Set van 4 Russische zilveren bekers – handgegraveerd stads- en landschapstafereel – 84 zilver – 19e/20e eeuw.

Elegante set van vier Russische zilveren bekers, elk fijn met de hand gegraveerd met architecturale en landschappelijke motieven — vermoedelijk dorps- of kloosterscènes. De bekertjes tonen variaties in decor, wat erop wijst dat ze individueel zijn vervaardigd door verschillende werkplaatsen of ambachtslieden binnen dezelfde periode.

De binnenzijde is glad gepolijst, de buitenzijde rijk gegraveerd in fijn lijnwerk. De randen zijn licht uitlopend, typisch voor de Russische “vodka beaker” vorm (stakan of charka).

Afmetingen ongeveer 7cm hoogte met 6cm diamter, elk stuk is een beetje anders.  Totaal gewicht ongeveer 212 gram. 

Keurmerken:
84 met het hoofd van een vrouw naar rechts (kokoshnik-hoofd): dit is het officiële Russische zilverkeur gebruikt tussen 1896 en 1908, overeenkomend met een zilvergehalte van 875/1000.

De initialen of meestertekens (zoals XI, HE3, enz.) verwijzen naar specifieke Russische zilversmeden of werkplaatsen — meestal actief in Moskou of Sint-Petersburg rond de eeuwwisseling.

Sommige bekertjes tonen ook aanvullende keurmerken met stadsletters of inspecteursymbolen, typisch voor die periode.

Deze komen uit een Antwerpse familie.  Ik ben niet zo op de hoogte van de keurmerken maar heb het opgezocht en kom tot bv informatie.  

Goede antieke staat met gebruikssporen, fijne krassen en lichte patina passend bij de ouderdom.

Een fraaie set met authentieke Russische charme – ideaal voor verzamelaars van keizerlijk zilver of Oost-Europese kunstnijverheid.
