Prachtige antieke steengoed kruik uit de periode 1775-1825, met een warme bruingele zoutglazuur en een karaktervolle uitstraling. Deze handgedraaide kruik is een mooi voorbeeld van vroeg Nederlands aardewerk, vervaardigd voor het bewaren van vloeistoffen zoals bier, wijn of olie.

De kruik heeft een klassieke bolvorm met een elegante, smalle hals en stevig oor. De ingeslagen “2” markering duidt op de inhoudsmaat (ongeveer 2 liter). De natuurlijke onregelmatigheden en het levendige oppervlak getuigen van authentiek handwerk uit de 18e of vroege 19e eeuw.

Het stuk verkeert in goede antieke staat met sporen van gebruik en een chip aan de buik (zie foto’s). De glazuur toont een prachtige, diepe patina met donkere accenten, wat het geheel een doorleefd en historisch karakter geeft.
