A very fine old 4/4 violin, labeled Leandro Bisiach della scuola Cremonese fece in Milano Leandro Bisiach 1901. This instrument is in a truly spectacular state of preservation with no cracks. It shows a very careful selection of wood in the making. The violin has an excellent straight high grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of irregular flamed maple with matched sides and scroll. Rich golden amber varnish shows an amazing wooden choice. The whole length of the violin is 588 mm and the back 357 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 114 mm; lower bouts: 207 mm. The sound is very good, suitable for soloist. Insured worldwide shipping by DHL.
