Body, Chassis & Paintwork
This 1930 Citroën C4 Familiale-Berline features a steel four-door body on a sturdy steel chassis with an officially registered chassis number by the RDW. The car has been restored in the past and currently shows light signs of use and imperfections consistent with an older restoration, but is free from serious corrosion. The doors, bonnet parts and steel fenders close well and are in solid condition. The paintwork is finished in a classic two-tone combination of beige and brown with black fenders and a rear storage area. The paint is in reasonable condition; spot-checks show that filler material was used in several places prior to painting.
Trim, Ornamentation & Interior
The exterior is neatly finished with a complete grille, chrome/nickel bumpers, good lighting and clear glass without cracks. The running boards are finished with rubber and the radiator cap is fitted with an authentic decorative element. The interior has been reconditioned in the past and is in well-kept condition. Both the front seat and the rear seat were reupholstered and covered with beige fabric. The metal dashboard has been sprayed to match the beige body color and is equipped with a complete set of instruments in line with the original Citroën specifications, supplemented with a separate temperature gauge. The car sits on beige steel rims with Michelin tires (size 15/16x45) and has a spare wheel mounted at the rear.
Mechanical & Technical Condition
Under the hood lies a 1.6-liter (4-cylinder) gasoline engine with engine number E01101. The mechanicals have been recently checked and made serviceable; the engine starts, runs well and the car is drivable (video footage is available). The manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, steering, brakes and electrical system are functional and in accordance with the original specifications, with worn parts renewed where necessary.

This C4, originally delivered abroad, has in the past been imported and equipped with a valid Dutch classic car license plate. Although the exact history of the mechanicals is not fully documented, the mechanical condition gives the impression that it has already been revised or thoroughly addressed in the past.
