Jaguar - D type - Revival Replica The Jaguar D-type produced between 1954 and 1957 especially produced for the 24 hr Le Mans race was equipped with the 6 cylinder XK Jaguar engine. Iconic design for a car build to race, as claimed by Jaguar only 75 original cars were produced. This is an excellent Jaguar D-type replica build in 1960 by Revival Motorsport Ltd. for the purpose of a ‘one man race’. It is in original condition with low mileage, after the rebuild of the engine in 2003. The age of the car permits it to take part in most of the oldtimer rally’s Right hand drive. Revival Motorsports Ltd build only 27 similar cars. Belgian papers, valid technical certification till 07/2028. Taxation report Body & Paint: The car is solid, no major repairs on the bodywork, no rust on structure, nor bodywork. The racing green paintwork is in good condition, some minor cracks due to small stones, na major damage, nor dents on the body. Steel tubular chassis with composite/kevlar lightweight bodywork and alumium parts. Estimated Hp 265 HP. Fast car due to the light bodywork. The exhaust muffler is hidden behind a inox perforated plate. Inox exhaust tail pipes. Replica build by Revival very simular to the real D type, with a lot of detail and use of Jaguar original parts. The original Jaguar solid wheels are in very good condition with retro tyres, dated 2018. . New headlights have been fitted for better visibility at night. Possibility to put on a roll cage. The build in fire extinguisher system with external switch was disconnected. Interior: Interior with use of leather and alu parts. On the leather there are only marks of use, no major scratches nor worn leather. Dashboard instruments Smiths gauges has been used. Speedo meter in miles. Brantz Tripmaster on GPS, backtrack, light for co pilot, and mechical chrono installed for rally use. Battery switch and removable steering wheel. Cover for the cockpit included. Mechanical: A complete revision of the 6 cyl Jaguar 4200 cc engine in 2003, with some additional tuned parts, and full flow oil filter (see picture rebuild specs engine) Engine equiped with 3 SU carburators, recent complete overhaul in 2023. 5 gear manual gearbox.
