Magnificent stackable chairs used in Communistic Poland, designed by legendary Polish designer Henryk Sztaba for a Lower Silesia factory in 1968.

Popular in stylish cafés, they were manufactured on the same machines which made shopping carts for communist Poland's popular grocery chain SAM.

What is unusual is, above original design, colour, patina, layers of chipping paints, that additionally create an absolutely phenomenal original design.

This piece is a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature.

Please note: these are authentic pieces designed by H. Sztaba not newer reproductions of artist's grandson.

Excellent, functional and industrial items for stylish interiors in industrial style.

weight of one stool: 4,7kg.

The stools are left in authentick condition with chipping paint, without cleaning. On the one of them where is a crack which doesn't disturb much seating.
