Decoratieve keramische fruitschaal – Álvaro José – Caldas da Rainha, Portugal – ca. 1950–1970

Beschrijving:
Kleurrijke handgemaakte en geglazuurde keramische fruitschaal van het atelier Álvaro José, afkomstig uit Caldas da Rainha (Portugal).
De schaal toont een compositie van diverse realistisch gevormde vruchten – waaronder banaan, citroen, aardbei, watermeloen, tomaat, vijg en komkommer – liggend op een groene ondergrond van bladeren.

Een typisch voorbeeld van het levendige en decoratieve aardewerk uit Caldas da Rainha, bekend om zijn expressieve kleuren en ambachtelijke glazuren in de traditie van Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro.

Aan de onderzijde gemerkt: Álvaro José – Caldas.
Zowel geschikt als tafeldecoratie als wandobject (kan eenvoudig worden opgehangen).

Conditie:
Goede vintage staat.
Enkele lichte craquelévorming in het glazuur passend bij de ouderdom. Geen zichtbare breuken of restauraties.
