Rare et exceptionnel mortier 17ème siècle, datée 1666. Mortier d'une grande perfection technique et dont le riche décor est emprunté à l'art campanaire. Trois anges aux ailes déployées, bien marquées, séparés par trois colonnettes striées, motif récurrent sur les créations du Maître bronzier Jacques Humbert. France, probablement région Champagne - Vosges. Hauteur du mortier 9,5 cm, diamètre 14,5 cm, base diamètre 9,9 cm. Poids du mortier 2,214 kg (4,88 Pounds). Excellent état de l'ensemble, malgré quelques manques mineurs sur le pourtour du col. Bronze à la belle patine étain.
