Beschrijving
Prachtige en gave set van Plateelbakkerij Regina (Gouda), uitgevoerd in het bekende decor “Melba”. Het gaat om een bij elkaar horende schaal met karaf, beide handbeschilderd in uitgesproken Art Deco-stijl. De warme tinten oranje, geel en turquoise komen fraai uit tegen de donkere fondkleur.

•	Merken: onderzijde met kroonstempel, decornaam en schildersignatuur W.B.
•	Afmetingen:
• Schaal: Ø 29 cm
• Karaf: hoogte 20 cm
Conditie: beide stukken zijn gaaf en onbeschadigd, zonder chips, barsten of zichtbare craquelé. Uitstekende staat voor een set van bijna 100 jaar oud.
Bijzonderheden:
Complete ensembles (schaal en karaf in hetzelfde decor) zijn schaars, omdat stukken vaak los in omloop zijn geraakt. Deze set is daarmee een verzamelwaardig en decoratief voorbeeld van Regina’s topperiode rond 1930.
