Het originele Wereldkampioen shirt van de Zambiaanse vrouwelijke bokser Esther Phiri. Fraai achter glas ingelijst. Prachtig en uniek in zijn soort ! Het shirt is destijds door Esther Phiri  aan een hier niet nader te noemen Nederlandse bokser geschonken. Een uniek exemplaar dat in perfecte staat verkeert. De afmeting van dit unieke exemplaar is 50x50 cm. Het wordt verkocht in de hoop dat het shirt bij een bokser/liefhebber/verzamelaar terecht komt.

Hieronder treft u informatie aan u een beeld geven van bokster Esther Phiri.

Phiri werd 14 juni 1987 geboren in Lusaka, Zambia. Ze werd op 1 december 2007 wereldkampioen na het verslaan van Belinda Laracuente. In 2015 kwam haar gevecht tegen Sandra Almeida uit Zuid-Afrika als een opluchting voor haar fans, die dachten dat ze niet genoeg huiswerk had gemaakt. Geen enkele vrouwelijke bokser, die zo succesvol is als zij, is ooit opgekomen in Zambia behalve Catherine Phiri.

Esther heeft een revolutie teweeggebracht in het vrouwelijk boksen.
Tegenwoordig kijken veel aspirant-boksers tegen haar op als hun idool. De documentaire Between Rings, in 2014 uitgebracht door haar neef Jessie Chisi toont de grootsheid van Esther Phiri aan die heeft deelgenomen aan 19 gevechten en die er 14 heeft gewonnen. 

Voor een ieder die de boksport een warm hart toedraagt, een unieke mogelijkheid om dit shirt te verwerven.
