Originele reclame-affiche, te dateren omstreeks 1950 door de Zwitserse affichist Donald Brun (1909-1999 gesigneerd in de plaat onderaan  links). Brun werkte vele jaren in opdracht van Belgische reclame-agentschappen, zoals Vanypeco in Brussel. Voor rekening van dit bureau creëerde hij in exclusiviteit voor de Benelux deze opvallende affiche met het Nederlandse 'kaasmeisje' in typische klederdracht dat de heerlijke Hollandse kazen aanprijst. Donald Brun hanteert hier een grafisch uitgepuurd en doeltreffend fluo-kleurenpalet, dat kenmerkend is voor zijn werk na 1950.

Conditie B+ : lichte sporen van middenvouw en enkele gesloten scheurtjes in de rand rechts, verstevigd met zuurvrije restauratietape aan de achterzijde.

Born 1909 in Basel, Swiss artist Donald Brun created from 1930 on countless posters that shaped the history of Swiss graphic design and are now internationally acclaimed. He was also a sought-after trade fair stand designer, creating a large pavilion for the Brussels World’s Fair in 1958. He went on to teach a great many designers at what later became the school of art and design in Basel.
Along with Fritz Bühler, Brun was one of the co-founders of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) in 1952. He spent his final years in Montreux, where he died in 1999.
