1989 was a great vintage for Bordeaux wines, for someone even better of the wonderful 1990. Chateau Pichon Longueville Baron has performed better in 1989 for sure, one of the best wine of the vintage, still displaying great life, wonderful aromatics and long aging potential. Perfect bottle condition, great impenetrable ruby tinged color, as it should be at this age and as you can see in pictures.
