This is a charming vintage Hello Kitty electric pencil sharpener by ELM, model Automatic PK-12, dating from the early Heisei period. The body is finished in bright red with the iconic Hello Kitty character illustration, accompanied by her teddy bear and the cheerful phrase “You’re my very best friend!”.

A wonderful collectible piece for Sanrio fans or lovers of Japanese retro stationery.
The sharpener works via electric operation and features a compact, sturdy design typical of Japanese craftsmanship from that era.
There are some minor scratches and dirt due to age and previous use, but the overall appearance remains bright and attractive.

A nostalgic and functional addition to any Hello Kitty or vintage Japanese collection.
