Deze Ndop-figuur is geïdealiseerde portret van een individuele Kuba-heerser. Net als bij andere ndop-figuren zit de heerser met gekruiste benen op een verhoogd platform. Zijn gezicht straalt zowel afstandelijkheid als kalmte uit. Het korte zwaard in zijn linkerhand (met het handvat naar buiten, wat de niet-agressieve houding van de nyim aangeeft) en de riemen, armbanden, schouderversieringen en speciale uitstekende hoofdtooi zijn allemaal elementen van koninklijke regalia. Men geloofde dat Ndop-figuren de geest van de nyim vertegenwoordigden en eerden en als contactpunt met zijn geest dienden.


Dit Ndop beeld is tradioneel gebruikt bij de Kasaï in Congo, het steld de Koning Lukengu voor.

Deze zittende vorst komt in een mooie staat.
Er zijn geen beschadiging, de foto's zijn een onderdeel van de beschrijving.
