Il piano centrale presenta un'impiallacciatura a mosaico che incornicia un delicato intarsio floreale, con una composizione centrale dai toni caldi del giallo e dell'arancio che spicca su una base in essenza scura. La superficie del legno è protetta da una finitura lucida. Il bordo è arricchito da un elegante traforo a greca con dettagli ornamentali in ottone lucido, che conferisce leggerezza e pregio all'oggetto.
