Non è un semplice figurino: è un'opera d'arte. Non mi è dato di conoscere il nome dell'illustratore, ma certo è che doveva trovarsi a Parigi, tra gli anni 50 e 60 e avere disegnato per le maison di alta moda più importanti creandone o illustrandone alcuni modelli: Dior, J. Griffe, M. Rautti, Worth, Baille, Desses, B. Sagardoy, Fath, Carver, Dioor, Lancia, Julian Rose, Ricci.
L'opera qui proposta, facente parte di una grande collezione, è un modello disegnato per Hubert de Givenchy, stilista francese di alta moda. Realizzato completamente a mano, con l'uso di tempere, china e acquarelli, su carta tipo rosaspina ad alta grammatura. Misura 44,5x69,5 cm ed è in buone condizioni, come da foto, pur riportando qualche inevitabile segno del tempo. Si assicura ottimo imballo.
