Here is the Austrian Empress.

An original Thonet Antique bentwood armchair with attached armrests, between 1890 and 1920. 

Design Michael Thonet. Embossed stamp THONET is visible. 

An high-quality collector's item. 

The chair is made of beech wood, steam curved and screwed together. 

The seat consists of hand-woven Viennese cane and has been professionally renewed and stained. 

The armchair has been respectfully restored: woodworm treatment, specific stucco and wood wax. All screw connections have been tightened and are original.
