Die Kopfbedeckung des Musikers ähnelt der Mukote-Kopfbedeckung, die traditionell von den westlichen Pende getragen wird, mit denen die Mbala die Mukanda-Zeremonien zur Beschneidung teilten. Im Laufe der Zeit wurde diese Kopfbedeckung zu einem Symbol des Widerstands gegen die Kolonialisierung im frühen 20. Jahrhundert. Maße: 30 x 10,5 x 11 cm, 455 Gramm.
