Magnífica escultura de ciervo realizada en plata maciza, de gran naturalismo y finísimo trabajo de cincelado que reproduce con precisión el pelaje y la poderosa cornamenta. Obra atribuida al taller del maestro Francisco Vera, con punzones parcialmente legibles en la pieza (marca de autor y contraste español), característicos de su producción de mediados del siglo XX.

Pieza de notable presencia escultórica, representativa de la mejor orfebrería animalista española de posguerra: dinamismo contenido, anatomía correcta y un acabado de superficie muy cuidado que confiere brillo y volumen a la figura.

Sobre el maestro Francisco Vera (breve nota)

Francisco Vera (activo en Madrid, c. 1950–1980) fue un orfebre y escultor especializado en figuras de fauna en plata, especialmente motivos cinegéticos (ciervos, toros, perros de caza, aves). Sus piezas se distinguen por:
	•	fundición cuidada y cincelado a buril para el dibujo del pelaje,
	•	proporciones realistas y cornamentas muy trabajadas,
	•	punzones de autor (“VERA” / “F. VERA”) junto al contraste oficial español (estrella/ley), habituales en su producción para mercado nacional y de exportación.
