Description

Bel ensemble de huit numéros originaux de la revue française Le Jardin des Modes Nouvelles, publiée par la Librairie Centrale des Beaux-Arts, Paris (13, rue Lafayette).
Cette revue, précurseur de Le Jardin des Modes, illustre l’élégance et les tendances du début du XXᵉ siècle : mode, coiffure, parfumerie, accessoires et arts décoratifs, accompagnés de publicités de luxe (Dolce, Parfums Atra, etc.).

Contenu du lot :

Première année (1912) : n°1, n°2, n°3

Deuxième année (1913) : n°1, n°2, n°3, n°4, n°5


Les couvertures conservent leur typique découpe ronde laissant apparaître une publicité intérieure. Papier fort crème, impression soignée, typographie et mise en page caractéristiques de la Belle Époque.

État général correct à bon : traces d’usage, petites déchirures marginales, couverture manquante sur les n°2 et 3 de 1912 et sur les n°1, 3, 4 de 1913. Intérieurs complets et propres, sans déchirures internes. Ensemble homogène et très décoratif, rare dans cette continuité chronologique.

Dimensions approximatives : 33 × 27 cm.
