Escultura de perro Dogue en plata fundida sobre base de ónix – España, mediados del siglo XX

Elegante escultura zoomorfa que representa a un perro  Dogue o de gran danés en actitud de reposo, realizada en plata fundida y montada sobre una sólida base rectangular de ónix natural veteado.

La pieza destaca por su expresión realista y serena, con un modelado suave y proporciones perfectamente equilibradas. La textura del metal refleja la tensión muscular del animal y su carácter vigilante, cualidades propias de las mejores obras de orfebrería figurativa española de mediados del siglo XX.

En la parte inferior de la figura se aprecian dos punzones oficiales, uno con la estrella española y número de contraste y otro con el sello del maestro platero, que autentifican su origen y calidad en plata de ley.
