In Color the Darkness, l’artista fotello reinterpreta il mito di Batman attraverso un’esplosione di energia cromatica e linguaggio urbano. L’eroe oscuro di Gotham emerge da un vortice di spray, tag e colate di colore, dove il grigio del suo volto si mescola ai toni accesi del fucsia, del giallo e del turchese, in un dialogo costante tra ombra e luce.

L’opera celebra la fusione tra iconografia pop e street art, trasformando la figura del Cavaliere Oscuro in un simbolo della contemporaneità: un guardiano metropolitano che si fa tela, attraversato dai segni, dai graffiti e dal ritmo visivo della città.

Con Color the Darkness, fotello illumina l’oscurità non per cancellarla, ma per trasformarla in arte, rivelando come anche nel buio possano nascere i colori più intensi.

 

fotello (Carrara, 1981) è un artista contemporaneo che opera tra pittura e arte digitale.
Cresciuto in un contesto familiare fortemente legato alla tradizione artistica – la nonna fu direttrice artistica dell’Accademia delle Belle Arti di Carrara – sviluppa sin dall’infanzia una profonda sensibilità verso le arti visive.

Dopo un percorso di studi nell’ambito artistico, dal 2001 avvia una ricerca personale che unisce tecniche pittoriche e strumenti digitali, affermandosi come autore riconoscibile per lo stile e la capacità di fondere tradizione e innovazione. Le sue opere digitali, firmate con lo pseudonimo fotello, esplorano i confini tra immaginazione e tecnologia, mantenendo sempre centrale l’elemento umano e creativo.

Parallelamente porta avanti la pittura moderna, con particolare attenzione all’astrazione, intesa come linguaggio capace di evocare emozioni e significati non immediatamente decifrabili.

Le sue opere, sia pittoriche che digitali, fanno parte di collezioni private in Italia e in diversi Paesi europei.
