THE ARTPIECE
This unique car portrait (Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 1975) looks like it came straight out of a gripping English crime novel. We don't know if he is chasing someone or being chased, but one thing is certain: time is running out. That's why he's on this wild ride in a Rolls that was never meant for this.

THE PRINT
The artist's signature (Gabor Helyes) with the year (2025) is located in the lower left corner of the image, within the white frame. The limited edition number is located in the lower right corner of the image, also within the white frame.
The size of the image without the white paper frame is 27 x 54 cm, and with the frame it is 33 x 60 cm.
Landscape format. Limited edition regardless of size: 1/10.
The printing paper is one of the highest contrast papers currently available, the Metallic Gloss 255 g/m2 type from the Prague-based company Fomei. It is an amazing resin-coated, micro-porous photo paper with high metallic-glossy finish. This Japanese-origin, highly reflective, glossy RC paper containing metallic micro-particles almost glows in the right light, giving the print a stunning 3D effect. As it is resistant to UV light and much less sensitive to fingerprints than silk matt papers, the print is also suitable for mounting on a hard backing (e.g. aluminum DiBond plate) without protective glass. In the latter case, upon individual request, the artist is willing to re-sign the work after cutting off the white frame.
The print comes with a unique Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist himself, which can be affixed to the final back of the print. 
Both the print and the Certificate are stamped with the artist's unique embossed dry stamp.
Printing and packaging of the image for safe transport is carried out by the Budapest-based specialist company Pigmenta Fine Art under the supervision of the artist. Printing is done on professional Canon Pro 2000, 4000, and 6000 printers using giclée archival quality, extremely durable ink. 
In general, prints are shipped internationally in sturdy paper tubes with acid-free protective packaging. Upon request and for an additional fee, prints can also be shipped in sturdy, flat packaging. 
The print will be shipped to the Buyer's address by FedEx.
We will hand over the print to FedEx for international delivery within 5 working days of receiving payment for the purchase and delivery. We do not frame the image.

THE ARTIST
Gabor Helyes (1963) is a Hungarian photographer born and working in Budapest. Before becoming a professional photographer, he worked for decades as a Master Architect, researching and following the spirit of his chosen master, Frank Lloyd Wright. "As a photographer, I work with the same two basic elements as I did previously as an architect: light and space. And in both fields, I rely on my creative, inventive vision," says the artist. "Although many significant Hungarian photographers contributed to the general visual culture of the 20th century, and László Moholy-Nagy had a great influence on me when I was young, it was not Kertész, Brassai, or Capa who sparked my interest in high-level photography.
With their Leicas, I mistook them for lightweight journalists… However, I was completely captivated by some post-World War II modern American architectural and landscape photographers who used heavy equipment: Pedro Guerrero, who interpreted Wright most authentically, or Julius Shulman and, above all, Ezra Stoller and Ansel Adams. Alongside Wright, they taught me to see creatively and express myself in images, at that time as an architect. I associated them with the contrasting, dramatic imagery of 1950s film noir and its painterly precursors: Caravaggio's figures flashing in sharp light, Piranesi's prison visions, the cloudy skies of Constable. But it took me a long time to finally realize that I, who resonate with admiration for the above artists, am myself an independent creator, capable of creating my own visual worlds.
All this awakening happened to me not so long ago. It occurred in certain parallels and contrasts with the gigantic changes that greeted the world with the Covid era and artificial intelligence. Since then, my previous instinctive search for direction has been replaced by a day-by-day growing awareness. With my characteristic hyper images, I would like to show those who are interested what it means to look at the world actively, expressing the original purpose of Art in the language of today's digital age: to evoke Paradise Lost.”
Gábor (the artist's first name) has exhibited his work at numerous major exhibitions in Hungary (Műcsarnok, Museum of Applied Arts), lectured at university level for many years as an expert on Wright, published in prestigious journals, and researched Wright's legacy in the USA on an American government scholarship. In recognition of his photographs, he had the honor of learning the technique of ultra-high-resolution panoramic photography courtesy of VAST Photos, New York (dir. Mr. Dan Piech). In addition to large-format urban and landscape panoramic photos, he also enjoys street photography and creating unique car portraits. Besides Budapest, the Eternal City, Rome, is the environment that inspires him most in his work.
