In questa asta si propone una antica cornice in legno a foglia di oro riccamente decorata , è intagliata a mano con doratura storica
Si osservano da vicino antichi restauri sui bordi , angoli ed si osservano altresì ritocchi pittorici oro 
La cornice ha il suo gancio originale in ferro .
Dal retro si vede la storicità della cornice e la “ cassetta “ tipicissima del 900. 
Questa cornice erano spesso usate per incornanicare dipinti archeologie oppure ritratti . 
Si osserva in antica targhetta con scritto : 
“C.Pécrus “ sbiadita dal tempo e sta per : Charles Francois Pecrus , pittore francese dell 800 . 
La cornice è perfetta per impreziosire un olio su tela . 
Ps si osservano sul retro antichi chiodi e mezzelune ti tappo di sughero .
