Elegant two-arm table lamp in the Maria Theresa style, dating from the 1950s. This decorative piece combines richly ornamented crystal elements with a gilt brass structure, echoing the opulent lighting designs of the 18th century as reinterpreted through mid-20th-century craftsmanship.

General Description

This double-light table lamp features abundant crystal decoration, gracefully curved arms, and its original fabric shades. It is a refined decorative object, well suited to classic interiors, boudoirs, or traditional vintage settings.

Detailed Characteristics

Origin and Period
French production from the 1950s, inspired by the Maria Theresa style, identifiable through its floral motifs, decorative arms, and generous use of crystal.

Visual Description
The lamp is composed of two moulded crystal arms adorned with floral rosettes and finished with scalloped bobeches. Faceted crystal drops are suspended beneath the arms, enhancing light reflection.
The central stem and base are made of gilt brass, decorated with beaded detailing and classical ornamental elements. The cream-colored fabric shades, trimmed with gold braid, are original to the piece.

Materials and Construction
Moulded and cut crystal, brass, and metal framework. Individually mounted crystal pendants. Fabric shades stretched over metal frames, consistent with the period.

Condition Report
Good overall vintage condition, showing normal signs of age and use. Noted imperfections include a small tear to the lampshades (visible in photos), minor pitting to the metal surfaces, and two missing crystal drops.

Fully functional and electrically wired. Standard sockets. Sold without bulbs.
