Prachtige grote antieke globe in de Nederlandse taal van de bekende Franse uitgeven Thomas uit Parijs.
De globe is rond 1915 uitgegeven. De globe vertoond de tekenen des tijds die passen bij zijn leeftijd. Hier an daar zijn er wat barstjes en vlekjes, maar in het algemeen is het een mooi exemplaar van dit inmiddels zeldzame model.
Persoonlijk vind ik de prachtige geprononceerde grafische manier van uitbeelding van de golfstromen erg mooi.
De globe staat op zijn originele voet, al met al een prachtige eye-catcher voor het interieur.
Kijk goed naar de foto's, ze vormen een integraal geheel met de beschrijving.
