Dit is een vintage Sputnik weerstation in de vorm van een globe. Het apparaat, dat in de jaren zestig in West-Duitsland werd gemaakt, bevat een barometer, thermometer en hygrometer. Het kan worden gebruikt als tafeldecoratie en kan worden gedraaid om de bewegingen van de instrumenten te bekijken. 
De barometer reageert op veranderingen in de luchtdruk, wat helpt bij het maken van een weersvoorspelling. 
De tekst op het weerstation, "REGEN" en "VERANDERLIJK", verwijst naar de weersomstandigheden regen en veranderlijk. 
Het ontwerp is geïnspireerd op de Spoetnik-satelliet. Het geheel is in prima vintage staat met wat gebruikerssporen passend bij de leeftijd en gebruik.
