Step back into a bygone era with this handsome antique pocket watch. Characterized by its classic styling and exposed mechanical movement, this piece offers a tangible connection to early 20th-century craftsmanship and horological artistry.

Key Features & Details

Style: Open-face pocket watch with a keyless winding mechanism (stem-set / stem-wound).

Case: Metal case, likely nickel or silveroid, typical of the early 1900s. Features an ornately engraved hinged case back with a guilloché-style pattern surrounding a central monogram “B” or “BB” in a decorative gothic font.

Dial: White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals (1–12) and a sub-seconds register near the 6 o’clock mark, detailed with red Arabic numerals (5–60) and minute tracks.

Hands: Elegant, possibly gold-toned or blued steel hands for hours and minutes, with a smaller sub-seconds hand. A delicate floral accent adorns the center pinion.

Movement: Visible mechanical movement with brass plates, polished steel components, and large gears — likely a pin-lever or similar early watch caliber. The movement is revealed by opening the hinged inner dust cover/bezel.

Inner Case Markings: Hand-scratched watchmaker service marks (including a visible “5/10/1911”) and a stamped case number (e.g., 422855) for reference and dating.

Crown & Bow: Ridged crown for winding and setting, topped by a rounded suspension bow for attaching a chain or fob.
