Deze indrukwekkende handgesneden houten pied de stal (muurconsole) uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw is een prachtig stuk ambachtelijk houtsnijwerk met een uitgesproken klassieke uitstraling. Met zijn royale afmetingen van 45 cm hoog, 25 cm breed en 15 cm diep vormt dit een elegant maar karaktervol accent aan elke muur.

Het middendeel is rijk versierd met een leeuwenkop in hoog reliëf, symbool van kracht en waardigheid, omringd door zorgvuldig uitgewerkte architecturale details in neorenaissancestijl. De verticale panelen met cannelures en ronde ornamenten versterken het statige karakter van het stuk. Elk detail is met de hand uitgesneden, wat getuigt van vakmanschap en een fijn gevoel voor proportie.

De console is vervaardigd uit massief hout met een warme, diepbruine patina die in de loop der jaren een prachtig doorleefde glans heeft ontwikkeld. Aan de achterzijde is het stuk voorzien van een origineel metalen ophangoog, waarmee het stevig aan de muur bevestigd kan worden.

Een bijzonder en decoratief object, ideaal om een beeld, klok of vaasje op te presenteren — of eenvoudig als artistieke wanddecoratie. Deze antieke pied de stal combineert klassieke grandeur met authentieke charme, en past zowel in een historisch als in een eclectisch interieur.
