Fétiche crâne de canard, culture Fon, Bénin.

Le Vaudou nous offre ici une oeuvre mystérieuse qui nous plonge dans un univers inconnu et complexe. Seul les adeptes de ce culte ont les clés de compréhension.
C'est un fétiche intrigant et puissant. Sa présence ne laisse pas indifférent. Il est composé d'un crâne de canard fixé sur une tige métallique. Un cadenas est accroché a son bec. Une charge magique lui est fixé dessous et à l'arrière. On notera aussi sur son crâne deux piques en bois, a priori des épines végétal. Des cauris forment les yeux, lui donnant un regard perçant et inquiétant. Quelle présence pour ce petit fétiche. La patine est superbe, riche et complexe. Mélange d'offrandes, de sang, de pigments et d'autres matières. Vendu en l'état, voir photos. Elles font partie du descriptif. Un bel objet de culte Vaudou ancien et authentique. Circa 196O.
